Evangelion Unit-03, also known as "The Angel of Salvation," was created by NERV as a powerful weapon to fight against the invading Angels. Unlike other Evangelions, Unit-03 was designed with a unique ability to communicate with humans and form a deep emotional bond. Asuka Langley Soryu, a skilled pilot and a troubled teenager, was chosen to pilot the machine.
